This 1-Day Workshop in Hartwell, GA, IV Therapy Mastery Certificate Workshop (IVTMC) offers verifiable evidence of knowledge, skills, and experience within the scope of practice for the clinician performing peripheral intravenous therapies. The IVTMC serves as validation of the clinician’s ability to perform peripheral intravenous therapy with a high level of knowledge of management skills, best practice techniques, and infection prevention principles for IV Therapy. Demonstration and skills assessment will be completed on PIV (peripheral IV) catheter insertion, venipuncture, CVAD (central venous access devices), dressing change, and PIV catheter removal skills.

Workshop begins promptly at 9:00 am and ends by 3:00 pm, each attendee will receive a 6 CE Workshop Certificate.

Workshop includes access to all required education for the IVTMC:

1. Complete Pathway Foundations of Vascular Access
2. Complete Pathway Foundations Essentials of Infection Prevention
3. Complete Pathway Fundamentals of VAD Management
4. Complete Pathway PIV Therapy.

Now, you are prepared to apply for your IV Therapy Mastery Certificate. To begin the application process, complete the Mastery Certificate application, send in the required forms to qualify to take the Mastery Certificate Final Exam. Submit these documents to the PICC Excellence Administrator at info@new.piccexcellence.com. Upon verification you will be provided instructions to access the online final examination and evaluation for the course. When you successfully complete the Mastery Certificate exam, you will receive the IV Therapy Certificate of Mastery and be included in the PICC Excellence IV Therapy Mastery Certificate Registry.

We operate on a first come first serve basis, allowing clinicians the best chance to enrich their skills. Life, however, is full of surprises, and we understand that sometimes plans change. If you ever find yourself needing to reschedule your workshop attendance, these guidelines are here to assist you.

WORKSHOP DATE CHANGES
Workshop registrants may change their workshop date once at no extra cost up to thirty (30) calendar days before the scheduled workshop. A $100.00 non-refundable fee applies to second or subsequent rescheduling requests.

UNEXPECTED CANCELLATIONS
If for any reason the registrant is unable to attend the scheduled workshop, registrants MUST contact PICC Excellence by phone to speak with our Communication Administrator at (888) 714-1951 or (706) 377-3360. Failure to speak with PICC Excellence forfeits both the workshop and the ability to reschedule the workshop. NO-SHOWS to workshop days are not eligible to be rescheduled.

PICC Excellence reserves the right to cancel any workshop up to fourteen (14) calendar days before the scheduled workshop date. In the event of a cancellation or postponement by PICC Excellence, you will have the option to reschedule or maintain a credit for any educational product. Your understanding and cooperation in these matters are greatly appreciated.
